March–May. Daytime temperatures 12–22°C. The Sea Garden blooms and the city comes alive with the 3 March national holiday, Easter events and the spring "Flora Burgas" exhibition at the "Flora" Expo Centre.
June–August. 26–30°C and long seaside evenings. The central beach, St. Anastasia Island, open-air concerts at the Summer Theatre, BIFF in July and free events at the Sea Casino.
September–November. 13–25°C, golden light and Indian summer. The Burgas Marathon, film festivals, the new opera season begins and accommodation prices drop — perfect for a quiet weekend.
December–February. 0–9°C, rarely snowy. Day of Burgas (St. Nicholas, 6 December), the Christmas market at Troikata Square, New Year in the city centre, theatre premieres and cosy nights in the city cafés.
