“The Colour of Salt” photo exhibition
Niki Dinov’s photographs of the red and pink salt pans near Burgas are on display outdoors in front of the Sea Casino.
Niki Dinov’s photo exhibition “The Colour of Salt” shows 24 pictures of the salt pans near Burgas, at sunset and from the air. The red and pink shades of the water come from the microalga Dunaliella salina, which grows in the very salty water. The pictures are printed on 127 × 94 cm panels and, the photographer says, are not retouched. Niki Dinov has been taking photographs since 1984 and founded Esstetic Print. The exhibition is supported by Burgas Municipality and the Rotary Club Burgas. Outdoors, on the alley in front of the Sea Casino Cultural Centre in the Sea Garden. The opening was on 1 October at 18:30.
