The North Beach occupies a 1.8 km stretch of shore between the Sea Garden and the Sarafovo district. The strip is much wider than the central one — up to 100 m in places — and is the only beach in Burgas that still preserves natural dunes with protected plant species such as the sea daffodil.
A northerly wind and shallow entry make this beach a favourite with surfers and kiteboarders. A private kite-surfing school operates at the southern end, while the northern stretch is left wild — just a few fishing huts and guard towers. Anglers are also a familiar sight on the rocks here in summer.
The beach is reachable from the centre in 10 minutes by car or on bus 15. The southern end is most convenient for families — sunbeds and beach bars are available. For a quieter stay, walk 300 m north — the dunes begin just past the last bar.
