Kraimorie is the southern coastal district of Burgas, 7 km from the centre. The shore here differs from the northern beaches — instead of broad sandy strips you'll find a line of small rocky coves separated by low stone headlands. The beach sections together stretch about 700 m.
The water is noticeably clearer than at the central beaches, thanks to the rocky bottom and the distance from the Burgas port. The seabed offers stone terraces, mussel colonies and small fish — a popular spot for snorkelling. Limited sunbeds are available in the southern cove, and showers in two of the central coves.
The coves are not suitable for small children — the entry to the sea becomes deep within metres of the shore and there is no sandy beach to play on. Families are better off at Central or Sarafovo. For snorkelling fans and those seeking quiet, however, Kraimorie is a favourite.
