The second day of the international forum “Maritime Heritage and Fishing Traditions: Communities, Policies and Sustainable Development” is held at the Ethnographic Museum in Burgas, after the opening day at the Chengene Skele complex. The discussions cover living fishing practices, the ways maritime heritage can be presented through museums, exhibitions and film, and its links to the local economy and the development of coastal towns. The organisers are Burgas Municipality, the Regional Centre for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in South-Eastern Europe under the auspices of UNESCO, the Burgas 2032 Foundation and the Regional History Museum – Burgas.
