Pantheon of the Fallen Antifascists

The Pantheon is one of the most iconic monuments in Burgas, located in the central part of the Sea Garden. Unveiled in 1981, the memorial impresses with its monumental architecture and expressive sculptural composition, the work of distinguished Bulgarian artists.

Originally raised in honour of the fallen antifascists, after the democratic changes the monument took on a broader meaning and today is dedicated to the memory of all heroes who gave their lives for Bulgaria. With its historical value, imposing presence and key location, the monument is a major landmark that enriches any visitor's walk through the seaside park.
