“The Secrets of Rusokastro” — an academic lecture

An academic lecture with a presentation marking 20 years of excavations at the medieval fortress of Rusokastro. The speaker is Dr Milen Nikolov, who leads the dig. The fortress was raised some 1,500 years ago on a strategic height and is known for the battle of 18 July 1332, in which Tsar Ivan Alexander defeated the Byzantine army. The lecture is held at the Archaeological exposition on 21 Aleko Bogoridi Blvd.
