“Sgraffito Ceramics from the Bulgarian Lands, 13th–19th Century”
An exhibition at the Archaeological Museum Burgas with pieces from five Bulgarian museums, devoted to sgraffito ceramics from the 13th to the 19th century. Entry is subject to a fee.
The exhibition presents sgraffito ceramics from the Bulgarian lands between the 13th and the 19th century, together with the pottery centres of Tsarevgrad Tarnov, Varna, Troyan, Gabrovo and Busintsi. The pieces are on loan from the museums in Veliko Tarnovo, Varna, Troyan and Busintsi, and from the Etar Open-Air Ethnographic Museum. A catalogue has been published alongside it. The exhibition can be seen from Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 18:00. Entry is subject to a fee.
