“The Books That Bring Us Together”: 20 years of the Znaci publishing house
A jubilee evening for 20 years of the Znaci publishing house: books, film, music and a meeting of generations of readers.
The Znaci publishing house, founded in Burgas in 2006 by Rumyana Emanuilidu, marks its 20th anniversary with an evening of books, film, music and a meeting of generations of readers, the culmination of its jubilee programme “Signs from Znaci”. It officially launches the series “Famous Authors Write for Children”: after Hristo Fotev’s “Seahorse”, the first copies of “The Stolen Child” by the Irish poet and Nobel laureate William Butler Yeats have arrived for the jubilee. The programme also includes an excerpt from the film “Sizifovtsi”, the new themed issue of the magazine “Izgrev” and the music project “Nostalgia for the Sea” by Ana Boyanova and Emil Kalev. The events of the jubilee programme support Burgas’s bid to be European Capital of Culture in 2032. At the State Puppet Theatre — Burgas. Starts at 18:00. Free entry.
