International forum “Black Sea 2030: Security, Resilience, Innovation”
The second edition of the international forum “Black Sea 2030” on security, resilience and innovation in the region.
Burgas Municipality and the Prospecti M Association hold the second edition of the international forum “Black Sea 2030” under the Blue Gates project. It will bring together representatives of European and national institutions, local authorities, academia, business and civil society. The programme includes three discussions, on security in the Black Sea region, on turning shared visions into real projects and on the role of technology in sustainable development, and in the panel “Voices of the Future” students, young scientists and entrepreneurs will present their ideas for the future of the Black Sea. The forum is opened by the Mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov, and the innovation discussion includes the European Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation, Ekaterina Zaharieva. An expo zone will show projects by universities and companies, and the forum closes with its key messages for the future of the region and the opening of the Marine Scientific Society’s scientific conference. At the International Congress Centre Burgas (ICCB) at the Sea Station. Starts at 09:30. Free entry. Participants are welcomed from 08:30. Registration in advance on the project’s website is required.
