Three different beach strips within a few minutes' walk — from the urban South Beach to the kilometre-long sand of Sunny Beach.
South Beach (Old Town)
A compact beach right below the Old Town walls, easy to reach, with views of the windmill and fortress. Family-friendly.
North Beach
The larger beach strip between the old town and Sunny Beach — fine golden sand, beach bars and easy parking. This is where most beach life happens.
Sunny Beach (north)
An 8 km continuous beach north of Nessebar — Bulgaria's largest, lined with hotels, water parks and a gentle sea floor. A 10-minute walk from the old town along the seafront path.
Tip
For the calmest water, try early morning (before 10 am) at North Beach — the wind tends to pick up in the afternoon.
