Landmarks

Lozenets is more about atmosphere than museums — a blend of fishing taverns, boutique hotels, art studios and pristine coves by the Strandzha.

Coral Cove

A small wild cove 1.5 km north — 200 m of fine sand, a campsite, a summer concert stage and sunsets over Strandzha.

Oasis Cove

3 km north — a larger beach and holiday village surrounded by pine forests. Traditionally a venue for youth summer camps.

St. Petka village church

A small Revival-era church in the village centre with a carved wooden iconostasis and annual July fairs.

Art scene and festivals

Summer in Lozenets features jazz evenings, open-air film screenings and independent music festivals — a tradition since the 2000s.

Wine taverns

Dozens of family wine taverns serve local "Mavrud" and "Shiroka Melnishka Loza" varietals with fresh fish and Strandzha cheeses.

Strandzha Nature Park

Lozenets sits at the gate of Bulgaria's largest nature park — 1,161 km² of forests, rivers and rare plants. Nearby are Balgari, Kosti and Velika, known for their fire-dancing traditions.
