The Gramophone

The iconic gramophone sculpture in the Sea Garden.

One of the symbols of Burgas is the imposing metal gramophone, set on the city's oldest pedestrian boulevard — Bogoridi Street, recognised as an architectural monument of culture. A work by the talented artist Rusi Stoyanov, this gramophone continues to draw the attention of locals and visitors alike, turning it into one of Burgas's principal attractions.

The gramophone sculpture on Bogoridi Street

Standing about 2 metres tall, it impresses anyone who passes by. Children often gather around it, competing to see who can turn its handle the hardest. But don't hesitate to join in this little adventure yourself — give the handle a turn for good luck.
