“Someone Got the Address Wrong”
A comedy by and with Rashko Mladenov, directed by Veselin Petrov, at the NHK Cultural Centre.
“Someone Got the Address Wrong” is a play about loners who pretend they are fine on their own. About a talent that has learned to hate itself. About language – Bulgarian, English and the language of music – as a battlefield, but also as a bridge.
A play about how the most important things are never written down. Not in the notes, not in the clauses, not even in the words spoken aloud – yet you can hear them if you have someone to be silent with.
A warm comedy about old age and youth, which struggle to find a common language but, after a series of setbacks, can grow closer – if a hedgehog, a piano and a good enough sense of humour come their way.
Presented by City Mark Art Center. Toncho Rusev Hall, NHK Cultural Centre; starts at 19:00.
