“The Sea and the Children”: the tenth edition
A celebration with pupils and the opening of the exhibition “My Black Sea” in the tenth edition of the Izgrev 1909 centre’s project.
The Izgrev 1909 community centre holds the tenth edition of its project “The Sea and the Children”, devoted to the riches and beauty of the Black Sea and to International Black Sea Day on 31 October. In October 60 pupils of the Dr Maria Montessori Private Secondary Language School in Burgas drew in art workshops and made posters, as well as cards addressed to pupils of the 2nd Secondary School “Prof. Emiliyan Stanev” in Sofia. The celebration brings together the pupils of the Dr Maria Montessori school and of the Hristo Botev Primary School in the village of Marinka, their teachers and guests, and the exhibition “My Black Sea” opens there. The project is supported by Burgas Municipality. At the Chengene Skele cultural and tourist complex near Burgas. Starts at 11:00. Free entry.
