Chengene Skele Cultural & Tourist Complex

An authentic fishing hamlet 15 km south of Burgas — boats, seaside tavernas and folklore.

Chengene Skele is a fishing settlement with 18th-century roots, set on the coast between the Atia and Kraimorie quarters. After a thorough reconstruction, the village has been turned into a cultural-tourist complex with three boat canals, four narrow streets, a museum exhibit on fishing heritage and several traditional tavernas serving fresh seafood. Folklore concerts and culinary events run throughout the summer.
