Puccini's "Madama Butterfly" in three acts: the tragic story of Cio-Cio-San and Lieutenant Pinkerton.
One of Puccini's most famous operas — the Japanese geisha Cio-Cio-San falls in love with the American Lieutenant Pinkerton, who later abandons her. Performed by the soloists, chorus and orchestra of State Opera Burgas. Cast: Yoana Zhelezcheva (Cio-Cio-San), Georgi Dinev (Pinkerton), Valeri Turmanov (Sharpless). In Italian with Bulgarian surtitles.
