“Carmen” — opera
Bizet’s opera “Carmen” in four acts, with the orchestra, chorus and ballet of State Opera Burgas and the Milka Stoeva Children’s Choir.
Georges Bizet’s opera, to a libretto by Henri Meilhac and Ludovic Halévy after Prosper Mérimée’s novella, was first staged at the Opéra-Comique in Paris in 1875. Carmen is Velichka Minkova (guest), Don José is Valeriy Georgiev. In French with Bulgarian subtitles. In the Opera Hall of the State Opera Burgas. Starts at 19:00.
