Hammond Brothers is the project of the brothers Vilizar and Andrey Gichev, which is on its first tour of Bulgaria as a quartet with a new programme: original music and repertoire from the classic Hammond organ tradition. The music builds on the classic sound of the Hammond line-up and draws inspiration from Jimmy Smith, Wes Montgomery, Grant Green and Jack McDuff, while also turning to more contemporary jazz. Different generations of jazz musicians meet on stage. Ten Fingers is one of the few places in Bulgaria with a real Hammond organ and a Leslie cabinet.
