Cinema Jazireh (Turkey/Iran/Bulgaria/Romania, 2025, 124 min) — the second feature by Turkish director Gözde Kural, which had its world premiere at the Karlovy Vary festival in 2025. After surviving the massacre of her family, Leila sets out to find her son Omid, disguising herself as a man. A screening in the closing days of the Burgas International Film Festival 2026 at the NHK Cultural Centre.
