Bus
Regular buses leave Burgas South Bus Station every 30 minutes in summer (hourly off-season). Journey ~35 min. A single ticket is around €3. Buses stop at the New Town bus station.
By car
Road I-9 south, ~34 km. 30–40 min depending on traffic. Vehicle access to the Old Town is restricted — use the pay car parks at the peninsula's entrance.
Boat
Tourist boats and launches link Burgas and Sozopol in summer — about 90 minutes each way, with an optional stop at St. Anastasia Island.
Taxi
A taxi from Burgas to Sozopol costs around €18–€22 by meter. Confirm the fare before departure and use licensed cars.
Getting around the old town
The Old Town on the peninsula is explored on foot — streets are narrow and cobbled. Wear comfortable shoes and plan 2–3 hours for a walk.
