Landmarks

Lozenets is more about atmosphere than museums — a blend of fishing taverns, boutique hotels, art studios and pristine coves by the Strandzha.

Coral Cove

A wild bay about 2 km to the north — around 800 m of fine sand, a campsite, a summer concert stage and sunsets over Strandzha.

Oasis Cove

About 1 km south of the village, along the old road to Tsarevo — a larger beach and holiday village, surrounded by pine forests. A traditional spot for summer youth camps.

The village church of St George

A small church of St George in the village centre, built and consecrated in 1998 — a contemporary structure with a wooden iconostasis, around which the village gathering for St George's Day (6 May) is held.

Art scene and festivals

Summer in Lozenets features jazz evenings, open-air film screenings and independent music festivals — a tradition since the 2000s.

Wine taverns

Dozens of family wine taverns offer Bulgarian varieties such as Mavrud, Pamid and Red Misket, alongside fresh fish, Strandzha cheeses and the local honeydew honey.

Strandzha Nature Park

Lozenets sits at the entrance to Bulgaria's largest nature park — 1,161 km² of forests, rivers and rare plants, established in 1995. Nearby are the villages of Bulgari, Kosti and Brodilovo, known for the authentic nestinarstvo rituals (inscribed on UNESCO's list of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2009).
