Chengene Skele — Rosenets is the southernmost bathing zone within Burgas municipality, 15 km from the city centre. It sits inside Rosenets Nature Park — 1,400 ha of pine forest and rocky shore declared a protected area in 1991. The beach is made up of a dozen small coves, totalling 600 m of sand and pebble.
Pine forests reach almost to the water and cast shade across the back of the beach — ideal for hot July afternoons. At Cape Chukalyata to the north stand a small chapel and a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the whole Bay of Burgas and the Sozopol peninsula. This is the finest sunset vantage point near the city.
A paved road reaches the beach, with a paid car park (~5 BGN/day, seasonal). The central coves have a bar and lifeguards; the northern ones are left wild. Several government residences were built here in the 1980s, so the area was restricted — today most have been converted into hotels.
