Ahtopol is small — the whole peninsula can be walked in 20 minutes. Buses and taxis connect the town to the beach and nearby villages; reaching the Strandzha requires a car or organised tour.

On foot

The old town, fortress walls, harbour and church are 10–15 min on foot. From the main square to the North Beach is 10 min along the walls.

Local bus

The bus stop is by the main square. In summer there are services to Tsarevo (8 a day), Sinemorets, Rezovo, and direct runs to Burgas.

Taxi

4–5 taxis work year-round in town. Typical rates: Tsarevo €6, Sinemorets €7, Rezovo €10. Transfer from Burgas airport — around €65.

Parking

Free on-street parking outside peak hours, a paid lot (~4 BGN/day) by the North Beach and private parking at hotels. Cars do not drive inside the old town.
