The beach in Rosenets Forest Park, widely known to locals by its old name 'Otmanli', sits about 15 kilometres south of the centre of Burgas. It is one of the few places along our Black Sea coast where the cool of the dense forest meets the seashore directly, combining the charm of mountains and sea.
The beach strip itself is not large but is exceptionally picturesque and quiet. The sand is fine, lightly mixed with clay in places. One of the beach's greatest advantages is the stunning, very close view of St Anastasia Island — this is the nearest point on land to it (only about 1.5 km away). The spot feels wilder, relatively uncrowded, and is an excellent choice for those wanting to escape the noise of the larger resorts.
The Otmanli area is a favourite destination not only for swimming but also for outings. Right next to the beach, set among the park's greenery, are dedicated picnic zones, wooden gazebos, barbecue spots and sports courts. This gives visitors a fine way to combine a morning at the beach with a cool afternoon lunch under the trees. Access by car is convenient, and a car park sits nearby.
